Finished up my new daily driver (have fun 56kers) - updated
Mattback snagged this HOT picture the other night. I thought I'd share it with you. It's my desktop
So I had a few spare minutes last night, and I finally strapped down the Pretty Hate Machine to the dyno to see what she actually slaps to the ground. Having dyno'd quite a few S13's with FMIC, dp, exh, no cat, intake, and boost controller set to 1 bar, I figure'd she would lay down typical numbers. But I got tired of saying "about 245hp", that and the fact that, as a dyno owner, it's completely unacceptable to own a car THIS long without dynoing it!
First, I started with "stock boost" just to see what the ole T25 can do on her own.
Not bad, I had never dyno'd one at stock boost, was curious what she did. This is the boost level I ride around on in the wet due to traction issues.
Next up, what I ride around on all day, .8 bar.
REALLY strong, about what most s13's put down on 1 bar. Pretty damn impressive!
Ok, enough playing around, what's the ole girl lay down when all the cards are on the table?
This smacks down the previous best we'd witnessed at this boost level (249whp).
After all the hard work, blood, sweat and tears this car has been through in the short time I've owned her, I can finally say I'm completely thrilled with it. The car is a blast to drive around, and I can't go anywhere without getting a compliment on it. I haven't had this much attention in a car since my S2000!
Finally, a HUGE HUGE thank you goes out to Enthalpy, Mattback, Taylor Durden, Trip, Escaflowne and anyone who has helped me with this car to get it to this level. I would NOT be here without you guys, thank you SO much! I rove dis car!
Hope you all enjoyed
Oh yeah, now that I'm done with this mostly, time for that ole Civic of mine to get fully assembled. Knock the dust off of her...

Electronic Dampening Force Controller, electronically controls the dampening force of the dampers. Pretty neat little gimmick.
Thanks for the comments everyone

Re: Finished up my new daily driver (Xenophobe)
Since your safc isn't installed yet, how did you tune it? Or did you just turn up the boost and floor it?

Re: Finished up my new daily driver (SuperTeg95)
dont need anything to tune a stock turbo'ed motor, the ecu will take care of that
basically, dial in the profec and hit the streets. the only problem he might occasionally experience is the blow off valve vented to atmosphere...MAFs based system can lead to stalling, bucking sometimes.

I was wondering about the civic. I thought I saw it lurking in the back ground of that last dyno vid (could be mistaken).
Props on this project. If it drives as good as it looks...it must be nice.

Re: Finished up my new daily driver (Foozball26)
Man that thing is pimp, I like the color two. I'm definetly building a 240 next. After driving my friends stock 240 in the rain I fell in love. Turbo and rear wheel drive is definetly the way to go. Don't get me wrong. I love my civic to death, its just so much damn fun having a rear wheel drive car.
Sweet ride though, keep up the good work

Yeah, you saw it, the ole Civic sits in the corner of the dyno cell, quietly awaiting her turn on the lift. Our freaking welder broke so we are awaiting replacement parts for it til we begin fabrication of the induction and exhaust piping. Small snags
I love RWD except in the rain, and then I really miss abs brakes and FWD. Other than that, I love the car.
MAF based cars are easy, they (mostly) compensate for changes in air flow by themselves, to a point. I could definately stand to do a ROM tune on this, to eliminate the speed cut at 115mph and to tune up some minor things.
Scooter, feel free to stop in anytime and have a looksie, I'd be happy to give you a test ride too.

after doing so many of them down here (well, s13's anyway) I said that too, so I made it happen.
