Finished up the charge piping today...(Second time welding!)
Looks pretty damn good if you ask me.
This was my second time welding, ever. The first time was just about 10 minutes of practice on some scrap piping at my freinds house about a month ago.
I don't have a shot of the upper piping where the Tial BOV is tho...sorry. I couldn't mount it with my stock battery in place to get a good pic.
I also did my down pipe, but I took it off before I could snap the pic...
Everything is coming off tommarow so I can race the car N/A on Weds. Then everything comes BACK ON the car on friday so I can finish up!
This is what the Upper TB portion of the piping looks like...(I saved it from my last setup)
How'd I do?

ya that looks pretty tight. and great job for only your second time welding. i know that stuff can get a little frusterating. but nice job. i didnt know you bored your motor out to 2.0. that with sc61 and that manifold will put out some interesting numbers. cant wait to see dyno results keep us posted.

forthe second time, that appears to be really nice. Maybe you should weld for a living. It obviously comes naturally. Welders getpaid too...especially if you can do it underwater!!! LOL Congrats on getting your setup running. It looks to be fun!

Its GunMetal Gray actually...
Thanks for the compliments guys.
Went to the track last night...
60ft- 2.35
1/4 - 15.74
MPH - 90.92
I was really hoping for 14s, but the car just wouldnt go any faster. I had six runs and ended up with a 15.7 4 of the times. Every single time I had a 90mph trap.
we never really tuned the motor so I'm sure the low compression with big bore on the stock timing is killing power. Being at 5800ft doesn't help...
we're gonna install the setup this weekend, and should be tuning it later next week.
About the manifold, Its actually pretty far away from the radiator but the way Cody mounted the WG flange on this one the Tial sits really close to the radiator. I had to relocate the fan to the front for it to fit. I still have to make a Down tube for it...and as I look at it, it will be extreemly hard to make...

Re: (Bryson)
Got any pics with the bumper on the car? I'm interested to see what it looks like. To many ED folks chopping up the bumpers in a big way for my liking.
