with twill, your speaking of lack of heat transfer .... CF twill acts as a insulator not a conductor ...
... Vapor grown carbon fiber is what is extremely conductive ... and expensive .... if the this pipe was made of VGCF be prepared to spend thousands of dollars

We were advised to use socks for runners on an intake manifold, but never had time to play around with them. Just curious if you used them what you might have thought.

Right, buy something light so that you can make it heavy again.
The charge pipe is cool. You guys need to stop worrying about heat transfer through intercooler pipes, it's negligible.

if u spend soo much money u wanna get something better than just looks
IMO i would love it to be a non heat soaking material that way u also getting performance and looks
unless u have a show car, i dont see the point unless it performs good also
