Finallys did it tonight! SOHC del sol in the 13's @ ~9psi.
Well, as you guys can see I now need to update my sig..... I'm so happy i can't even stand it lol. Goal for the car was 13's and I finally did it tonight!! Fastest trap speed was 103mph, which I was more than pleased with.
Here's my 3 13 second runs. Car's running a T3 (60 trim) turbo @ a about 9psi. D16z6 motor running BBKA's map. (In the process of getting my TE 2.0 up and running).
Thanks to everyone who has helped!! Matt(xxslayerxx). He's helped me a TON with this thing. Paul and everyone else. Thank God too.
I'll scan the slips tomorrow but here's the breakdown.
Best of the night was.....
60' 2.374
330 6.124
1/8 9.135 @ 82.46 MPH
1000 11.709
1/4 13.910@ 102.38 MPH (almost into 13.8's)
Backed up with........
60' 2.361
330 6.171
1/8 9.206 @ 81.92 MPH
1000 11.788
1/4 13.994@ 102.15 MPH
60' 2.402
330 6.198
1/8 9.214 @ 83.37 MPH
1000 11.787
1/4 13.988@ 102.29 MPH
Fastest trap speed was tonight 103 MPH and best 60' was 2.361
Stock suspension and street tires....just a turbo kit and a 6 puck clutch and that's it.
Spent about $1600 on the car to get it here, so I'm definately very pleased with how well spent that money was.
I've met my goal, and im happy to say I'm just about done with the car for now. Couldn't be happier

Not sure on HP....Never dynoed. Yup, stock block and stock head. (just ARP headstuds)
Weight im not too sure. Stock I guess it's 2400, but I took out the tire, jack, no a/c (never came with it), no powersteering (gonna be putting in a manual rack), no cruise(wasn't working anyways). A/C bracket IS on though ... Interior is missing a few things too
If I had a guess i'd say 2300+150lb driver.

thanks guys!!
Thanks Mike!
I'm not sure if i'll be going back soon, I kinda like having a motor with the pistons and rods in tact.....but we'll see
If i go back i got a few more things....12psi, window weld (on motor mounts, my lower ones are busted), and heat wrap too...on top of the tires (which are VERY badly needed)
Thanks Mike!

Good job, i ran on street tires a few months back and ran a couple of 13.7's. I was pretty stoked myself.

Wow, that's really quick! Nice job on the 12.9 too, that's really quick for a SOHC on 11psi. How long have you been boosting that for? I think your car is what encouraged me to go with the SOHC turbo.
Thanks!

Re: (89SiPimpin)
Good time for a turbo on a typical street car. I'm planning on the same times with my 90 LX, z6 & volvo t3. I'll go to 11psi if I have to, using the LX trans for now.
Next step...pictures!

I've been runing this setup for a few years now. Only problem i've ever had was a broken ringland on one piston. Other then that around 70k boosted miles. I am in the process of doing a vitara piston and eagle rod combo on my spare block as a backup motor. I also got a decent set of slicks finally and a y8 trans with a kazz lsd to put in, which should drop my times down some.
Thanks!

Re: Finallys did it tonight! SOHC del sol in the 13's @ ~9psi. (norcalcrx)
Thanks again guys! Thanks Mike lol. My car looks like a pickup i know
Yeah those 60's are horrible, hopefully some tires take car of it but right now I kinda like the almost bone stock look (with the exception of the intercooler)
norcal...I'll be doing the same thing shortly. I had the vitaras but I sold them to a friend, so i have to pick up another set. I really like that combo. It seems to be pretty stout. My friend was boosting 15psi on the BBKA map (yeah i know ) on it with a 14b at the track with me.
