finally ran the LS-T Hatch :(
Well i made it to the track tonight and i got to run the car 3 times. it wasnt as good as i wanted but its ok i suck at driving on the track. the 2nd run was against an Evo 8 and i beat him by .6 or so . Last run was against a SVT cobra with exhaust and work done, he didnt start pulling till the end. i also have a messed up drovers side axle so ive bee braking axles l8ly so im kinda hard to push it all the way so i wasnt slamming gears. do you guys know what i should do to improve my times and hit a 12.9? i dynoed 242whp and 221wtq. well enough BS heres the slips...

2.5 is not a very good 60ft time at all. throw some slicks on that and get that down to a 2.1 or so and you should easily get a 12.9

well... what do you expect? your turbo setup is good to go... but other parts in your car are F'ed up. get a new clutch. get your axle repaired/replaced. get some slicks or drag radials. then youll see what you should be runnin.

Re: finally ran the LS-T Hatch :( (SIK IN DA HED)
Sounds like me.....I ran a 13.8@111mph on my stock internal LS-T hatch. Damn trap would be better if I could make the freaking thing hook up more in second gear.....second gear wheelspin is absolutely rediculous

Re: finally ran the LS-T Hatch :( (1.8t)
check your motor mounts also. mine were broke in 2 pieces and i kept breaking axles and running shitty times at the track with my integra

Re: finally ran the LS-T Hatch :( (airshifta)
it looks like the only thing thats keeping u from getting the 12's, is driving and traction., and u will need an aftermarket clutch probably to push ur car harder and not have any slipage.
those trap speeds are high enough for 12s

no me and dave did our own tune. i put down 242whp and 221wtq. we could of made more but i was scared to have dave add timing. even though he says its really conservative right now.

I'm guessing you don't have LSD? I think a set of slicks would definetely help the cause cause it sounds like you're spinning or hopping out of the hole to get a bad ET and great trap.
I managed to pull consistent 1.8 60 foots in my 00 ex coupe w/o LSD and i only made 176/173 to run a 8.52 in the 1/8 mile. The small E.T drags and light 14" wheels definetely did the trick
