Default Finally Ordered a New Turbo!

So after a month or so of trying to decide, I acutally went with a smaller turbo than I was previously running. I was looking at a few different setups, and rode in a few cars, and i'm hooked on fast spool setups Especially after riding in a ls/vtec GT28RS hatch on 15psi! Hoping to make 340ish and call it a day! I was aiming for mid to high 400's before but changed my mind!

that's a nice VERY responsive and very small compressor wheel. (I'd barely use that on some D-series engines). Good luck with your setup. You'll be a bit over 18psi to get 350.

Very interesting, especially if you have a good boost controller. I know ectune allows you to 'divide' the boost based on TPS %. Meaning WOT would be 18psi, while 3/4 throttle would make it target 12, etc.

As long as its built and its not out of its efficiency island, there's no problem with going with >11psi. Most people here are just too scared to get a bigger MAP sensor

yeah I def was gonna have the boost up there. at least 14-15psi to start things out. It just a basic rod/piston combo 9:1 eagle/wiesco on stock sleeves and ITR cams, it should be very fun as a street car! it's my daily driver! i'm currently on crome gold, thinking of switching to ectune!
