Finally! I'm a Dad! Any suggestions?
After many patient years dreaming of going boost, I am finally here. I am (about to be) the proud father of a boosted 1999 Si. If any of you have any suggestions or tricks that maybe you or someone you know delt with on this application I would like the feedback. Flamers, although your useless input is sometimes very close to being funny, need not respond. Thanks a ton in advance for any and all help!!

Check fluids every day, it only takes a moment, and can help a lot in preventative maintenance. Watch your temp gauges, and listen for any odd noises. Use PREMIUM gas only.

Pray.
...and I don't know if you have a good tune already, but if you don't, get one. I've got a 35% leak on no. 1 cylinder, after not even a year of boosting 6.5psi on the shitty 12:1 fmu and inline pump setup. good luck.

if the kit isn't on yet, do a compression test before u install the turbo, or if its on do a compression and leakdown test, just so u know what's going on.
Besides fluids and having extra tools, oil, plugs, zip ties and coolant n the trunk id say don't go the "cheap" way out. Cheap and Turbo shouldn't be used in the same sentance.
Specifically, I check my oil once a week, oil change every 2,500 to 3,000 miles depending upon how I drive it. During the weekly oil check I look around at VAC lines, injectors, you know just the general to see whats up.
And Plugs every 5k miles, that's what I do.
That's all I can think of now.
