Default Finally hit 11's, B18b LS Turbo , Low boost

well guys i ran my car tonight, at first i was upset because my MBC wouldnt crank up "at all" it would only run off the wastegate setting (10psi) and in 3rd and 4th be at 12psi. I was running my car full interioer (2400 w/ me) and open DP this time to get my big *** T4 spooled. But i'm happy w/ my results

60ft - 1.717
330 4.957
1/8 7.668
mph 89.81
1000 10.015
1/4 11.98
mph 114.56

11 second LS turbo on 10-12psi ! woohoo!

Bad news, On the way home i shattered ANOTHER ls oil pump, This CTR N1 is the blame i know it. Tomorrow im installing my new ITR pump and throwing the N1 away and putting my stock one back on!

for 11's !!!

Impressive times and setup, but I am not 100% sure you should blame the pulley for the oil pump thing...I had an ls setup w/ 160k + miles with an unorthodox racing (1 ribbed crank race pulley) with over 150 dragstrip passes and massive street beatings, and never had one problem...Its funny I have seen some n/a oil pumps on bone stock motors fail at 130k + miles.... Who knows the real reasons why...

was street tuned so I have no idea on what numbers, But according to weight and MPH id say last night i was makeing 280ish on 10-12psi range.

On 17 id say im makeing easy 340ish. I have no clue tho so I'll wait for my dyno numbers

they say w/ boost makeing in the 300whp range the vibrations it gives off destroys the pump quickly. In my case... 2 pumps in 2 weeks
I'm installing my new ITR pump as we speak w/ my stock pully haha

As soon as i saw the light, I turned it off and coasted to the side of the highway. Gotta love AAA. haha Shouldnt of hurt anything tho i hope, wasnt on long enough to i believe. maybe a second or so.

nope, No spinning. Something that is hurting me tho is my *** end tucking and my rear tires rubbing the wheel well's threw 1st, a lil threw 2nd and when i shift to 3rd. lol

And about the power, I have no idea how much it makes like it sits. But i'll find out soon thou

Based on having the same car/motor and weight, I would say at trap speeds of 114 mph would equal approx. 260 whp...

Glad to see you posting track times I would drop the oil pan and make sure everything is ok. If you caught it quick enough everything should be fine but I would just make sure Have you looked into a Fluidampr? I have one on my built B18b.

If I could get slicks and yank a 60ft like that I'd be running 11s... Instead Im running 13s.. and just trying to hit 12s on street tires... @ 12psi on a stock B20... Nice timeslip, Im quite jealous! lol What was your total ignition timming?

Boost ownz....

CTR pulley seems to always be the oil pump killer. i have seen it on quite a few cars. fluidamper owns us all

nice times by the way
