Default Finally boosted again ( D16 turbo )

Wrecked 1-18-05 - Its going to be awhile if this car gets back on the road if at all

Tuned 8-21-04 by boostedhybrid. Made about 220whp @ 14psi on a dynapack
Ran 9-3-04 @ MIR Ran a 14.5 @ 95mph around 13psi of boost. .042 r/t and I got 2nd place (qualified 4th) in the s/c bracket racing along with a huge trophy
this lx tranny has to go though. .
Installed the ex tranny only managed to run a 14.4 on the same amount of boost, i think. the coupling ripped by the turbo though so it may have been leaking on that run.
Installed my extended wheel studs.
Ran 11-14-04 @ MIR Ran a 13.9 @97 mph Here's why though: https://honda-tech.com/zero...55733

You don't need Hondata or the EMS. Get the wideband and use Crome . Check my sig.

thanks. no that 2g's didn't include the engine work. I rebuilt the whole engine last august when the piston rings went. I think i paid around $1,100 to race eng. for the pistons, rods, headstuds, blockguard, spring compressor etc..

i have no dyno numbers but i'm thinking around 170-180 hp. I ran the 1/8 mile on friday b/c it rained and they couldn't dry all the track to run the 1/4. I ran a 9.49. I guess that's like mid 14's. I'm hoping to get about 250whp when im done tuning and all at around 1 bar. My last setup i got 215whp at 10psi.

Very nice, how high do you think the boost will safely run?

i have no idea. If it blows i'll just throw another motor in. I'll probably go sleeve my other block if it doesnt hold up. I should be alright at 1 bar for awhile after its tuned since i dont drive it much.

You shouldn't have a problem boosting even more than 1 bar with your setup. How much power do you plan on making?

I'm looking to get aleast 250whp anymore would be great! I want to get down into the 12's with some good DRs or even slicks if i have to. My buddy has a vette that runs 13 flat but he spins his *** off with the tires he has. I'd like to beat him at the track With my other setup i kept up with him on the street from a roll.
