Default ***Final stages***

Well the motor is almost done and the time is getting close. I have a few questions. I always hear all these high HP numbers here and there and i aint to worried about making them big big numbers. I'm worried about getting the car down the track. I'm looking to get either slicks or good d/r and wanted to hear everyone's thoughts. I upgraded the axles to the gator stage 3's and i think I'll be making really close to 500whp. Car's drivetrain is stock excepts for 4 puck ACT clutch and the axles. I'm running the Apexi WS coilover's (which aint too too great)I've never driven a somewhat HP FWD car down the track and was wondering if it would be smarter to start off with DR's on my stock 15 inch wheels. Learn the car ect. or just go all out (since I pretty much went all out on the motor) and just learn the car on the slick. Allot of people are saying dr's would be a waste of time and I would just light them up all the way down the track.

The car is a ITR with, AEBS sleeves (84mm) Arais 9.2 coated pistions, Pauter rods, balances crank, full blue print, SC61, 1000cc injectors, M&W ignition, Endyn racing head and w/ full valve train, Hondata s200. Motor is being built by Kenny and Jotech and Tony1 will be doing the tuning.

I'd like to get everyone's opinon to say my self some head aches (if that's even possiable lol) Tips, ect.

The best I ever ran was a 12.7 @ 116mph on full street trim. 18 inch wheels, full interior ect. That was on my 3rd pass ever on 10 psi which was making 306whp. The clutch went out on me so I only got 3 passes in. I got sent to Iraq for 6 months back in Sept and never got back out to the track to improve my times. I started my rebuild 1 Feb and by the end of this week the car should be done and ready for Tony to do his thang! Anyway sorry just giving you guys a bit of the back ground.

With that kind of power i would just use slicks, you could try dr's but why run those when you know you can get better et's on slicks? To me theres nothing like launching ***** to the walls on some good slicks
