i know this is honda tech...
but i know alot of FI die hards browse this particular board...
so i figured this car might be hated or appreciated.
just a nice car with a sick setup...
car claims 1200bhp on race fuel.
900bhp on 100oct.
and its awd.

here are some pictures of the setup...
along with some specs.

The rear subframe and suspension is a mix of Audi RS2 and Sport Quattro with titanium swaybars and magnesium suspension struts. The front subframe is custom built, also with titanium swaybars and magnesium suspension struts. The exhaust is built from 4.5" stainless steel pipes all the way from the turbo and back with a single muffler under the car. The transmission stems from an Audi IMSA car with a custom built final drive.
To further reduce weight, many of the stock parts have been replaced by correspondning parts made from carbon fibre. For example, the instrument panel, door trims, hood and bumpers have all been replaced by carbon fibre dittos. The stock seats have been removed in favor of Recaro carbon fibre sport seats with 6-point harness belts. All windows are made from lexan plastic.

thats all i got...
i mean it runs a k series borge warner turbo...
at 30+psi on race fuel and just under 28psi on 100oct

That car has been around for awhile. But very impressive none the less. Sport Compact Crap..oops I mean Car did a feature on it a few years back. I have seen a couple vids but the quality was totally shitty. I am not going to even try to see these on the 56k I am using now but I will check them out later on my other computer.

Nice setup, but the car seems like it's out of balance and just a power pig on the track. ANd, the driver needs power steering he could barley keep the car straight out of a turn. All in all i give the car some credit but it's defifnity from what i see in the video that the car is sloppy and all over the track . It could all ma be the driver or how the car's suspension is setup.

jus my .02

I remember seeing this car way back then in the books. Is this the one where it was a full page and there was fire around him while posing?

Yep thats the one lol - I'm just happy to see the car stretching its legs. I hate it when people build cars like this then keep them under a glass case (something I'd probably do if I spent a half-million $$ on a vw or whatever that thing ended up costing him)

*edit* - my 333rd post... Time for a beer is wtf that means.

Yea I remember this VW back when it was featured in sport compact and only had like 700HP, but that was like 4 or 5 years ago. That bish is sick, but i can beat him in my cx no contest . Nice car none the less...

It´s built her in my littel town Borlänge in Sweden by Hans Dahlbäck and hes crew at Dahlbäck racing..

The car is hiped and the power it pot outs is a mith and it´s alot of BS going on around that car.. It´s still realy impressive... It´s more like 800 hp.. on race gas..
