Default Ferrea Roller Rocker System

I'm going to be running a "B20" block with a B16A head. If using the Ferrea Roller Rocker System, thereby eliminating VTEC, would I reaaly be loosing any power by not having VTEC?

I'm debating with myself....

Possible power gain or better a/f ratio with VTEC

or

Possible power loss without VTEC, but the ability to rev to a higher RPM, hence the ability for the turbo to be at full boost longer in every gear

Any thoughts, comments suggestions?

I think on a non-street driven car where unlimited can aggression can be used it would be beneficial because of the loss in rotating mass weight, but on the street it is probably not the best idea.

Not the best idea for a semi-daily driven/weekend warrior? Could you please explain? as I don't know why.

think about how wild the idle would be if you were in vtec. think about how shitty the low end would be, because you were in vtec...i bet the car would be a dog until it hit vtec.

point being its not good for a street car, when you do the most "low end" driving.

Not only that plus the cam has to be so agressive for the top end that it would have no power for the 1000-4000 rpm range. Think about how much time you are operating in that range. Never at the drag strip but all the time on the street. Makes no sense.
