Hi, I have been doing some digging and wonder if anyone has considered using the pistons from the Honda accord type V as the compression ratio is 8.8-1. looking to bore and sleeve to 87mm to match the size.
Would like to know if anyone has attempted this and if so what should I take into consideration.

Use those pistons in what? Why on earth would you want such low compression?

 

Would be using it on a Bored 87mm K20. it's a learning process, but I take it @Txdragon you'd recommend differently.

 

Used for? I'm assuming boosted application? Gotta give some plan details, amigo.

 

I ran a K20, sidewinder Manifold, GT35 Turbo, with stock internals, 1000cc inj Etc
Plan to rebuild to make more boost and a bigger turbo. Also thinking of going AWD in the future.
