Default Will these pistons fit my engine?

I am looking for higher compression than stock 9.9:1 but not crazy high compression pistons like the D17A7 12.5:1 pistons for my 2005 Civic with a D17A VTEC engine. I ran across these pistons which are also 75mm, but are for D16 engines. JDM High Compression ZC P29 Pistons Civic CRX D16 ZC Rings D16Y Standard 75.0mm Is there a difference in D16 and D17 pistons that would make them not interchangeable? If so, what would be my best bet for higher compression pistons for my car? Thank you, I am somewhat new to building engines, so I need some help with choosing pistons.

Things you have to consider when looking at stock pistons. First is wrist pin size. Some Honda pistons are 19mm wrist pins and others are 21mm etc.

The other thing you have to consider is wrist pin compression height. This offset has to be factored into your rod length and deck height as well as your crank stroke.

And the one thing I have not looked into but might be relevant is rod width. I'm aware the rod width on the big end is different between the OBD1 1.6L and the OBD2 1.7L motors. I would think the small end would be different in width too. This would provide to much side to side play to be within spec.

There is a lot more to pistons than just bore size.
