Default F23A Turbo question ?

Hi there guys,

I just put my hand on a JDM f23a turbo. I have no clue if the engine history ...

The f23a is equiped with a t28 garrett turbo and i was wondering if the engine could of been built with internal...

Is there a way of knowing without talking out the head

I did a compression test and all the cylinder seem to be around 180psi +/-

Any idea ??

Nope. Gotta take it apart to see what's in it, or use a fiberoptic scope. With a T28 turbo on it, chances are you're still running a stock engine block.
