Default F22 turbo question

Would a chrysler, or a dodge turbo manifold be able to be custom fitted to an F22 ? I can get a complete F22 at a local yard for $300. I was thinking I could get the running donor car on one hnad, and in the other buy and mod a seperate engine for the Attack. ( If not above mentioned, what turbo parts are most commonly used for cusotm setups ? )

it "could be" fitted, the question to me would be is it cost effective and make decent gains.

you would need the flange for the turbo if it was something specific or propriatary to the turbo you choose... you could make an adapter plate or weld the flange to a manifold.

it depends on your budget... to me custom was all stainlessless one of a kind parts... with a lesser budget it might be an adapter plate on a manifold using low budget used/ new parts.

I ask because at a local yard, I could pull COMPLETE turbo setups from these Dodge and Chrysler 4cyl. Would that make things easier ?

if thats the case, then you could try to use as much as possible and yes the turbo/ most components can be fitted.

you probably would mostly have to deal with the manifold, downpipe, and any adapter plates needed to mount the turbo as you would not be able to use the ones from the chrysler/ dodge setup (well other than for the flanges it has on it if you cannot find some to make your mani/ dp).

oil lines / water lines (if turbo has them) would be the only other thing that would be troublesome I would think... sometimes they use oddball fittings and whatnot.

then the obvious details and fuel management.
