f22 Turbo
I've searched for some stuff about f22 turbos, I've come up with some answers, but I still have a few questions... apearantly, not many people do this, most of the searching i've found, all the answers were "get a real engine".
My situation: I have an f22. Eventually, i *think* i want to swap to an h22, but i'm not sure yet. But I want to get everything I can out of this engine first, because if/when I swap it, what am I going to do with an f22? Lawn orniment? I mean, who wants an f22? Core refund is probably $12.50.
The non-vtec f22's - is there a problem with turboing them? Like a quality difference in the engine parts stock? I'm only looking a few lbs of boost, not a terrible amount.
If the head does really suck that much, what would you look at replacing / upgrading? Whole thing, or pieces.
Can anyone recomend a turbo? I mean, will any-old-turbo-for-a-honda work, or is there a huge difference I need to be keeping in mind while shopping?
Also - a newbie question, and I apologize in advance, but where can I tell which engine I have - f22 a,b,c,d, l-m-n-o-p, whatever. It's a 96 accord dx.

I asked the same question, but I'm going to try to turbo my bros accord vtec though. Read this thing I found in the accord forum https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=280348
thanks, that's actually a big help. I didn't come across that one.
I really want to play with this f22 engine, in part because people say that it's not worth it and it's cool to prove something to yourself, and in part because if i screw it up, i'm not out $5000, as it's an f22 with 130k mi on it.
