Default a/f wiring

i hope this nis the right thread i thought it would be aplicable because most turbo setups involve a/f
so i have a five wire o2 sensor and my o2 is looped at the ecu so the plug from the bay to the ecu is disconnected, the bay plug is also a five wire so the o2 sensor plugs right in. i dont want to run the o2 like an oem just for my a/f i was thinking switched power ground and then sensor wire to the a/f gauge but i was hoping someone could shed some light before i jump into this.
whats the proper way to wire this?
do i need a 4 wire?

thanks guys.
