Default A/F Ratio In/Out of Boost

Just jumped in my car:

92 civic ex 4 door
B18a1
Rods (Eagle)
Pistons (Custom 9:1)
Block Guard

just dropped in my PLX 300 all my turbo stuff is on, I AM NOT BOOSTING YET, but have been driving the car out of boost only in vacuum. My question is what should my a/f ratio be while normal everyday driving out of boost?

My Wideband is showing me running pig rich to the point where it actually read "RICH" in the LED display. At idle I am sitting at like mid 10's to low 11's which I think is way rich. I got a bone stock LS Ecu in and my walboro 255lph fuel pump.

I'm installing my 550's as I write this and using uberdata to tune. I know under boost I am looking for about a 12.0-12.5 a/f ratio. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

Default Re: A/F Ratio In/Out of Boost (Vtec92Civic)

if you just built your motor and running that rich.....your rings will have a hard time seating...becasue they are constantly being fuel washed

off boost i tuned my aem to run 14:7-15:1...when you let off it should say AIR in the wideband...and under cruise on the highway i run 17:1-18:1 for better fuel econ

under boost you should tune around 11:8-12.5:1 on pump gass...you also need to harness your timming under boost

good luck...get that **** leaner so your motor fully seats up

thanks for the great information . . . I apprecaite that. We are getting everything ready now to tune my car for boost, so i'll be sure to use your information. I'll make sure to lean out the vacuum section since I am running way to rich in that area.

Thanks again . . .
