i don't want to wire it in the engine bay, rather to the ecu? does anyone know which wire to tap in for 02 sensor for the air/fuel gauge?

it SHOULD be white w/ red stripe, D14 i think if i can remember right... i wired mine to the engine bay, and u must SOLDER connections, or it will be funky like mine was... u dont ahve to solder the leads on the back of the guage tho, i used butt connectors for that.

yup, the correct white wire will be a bit thicker than the other wires around it.

 

change of plan! stock 02 sensor have 4 wires: green, white, 2-black. which one is the signal wire?

No need hook it into the O2 sensor. Connect it just like someone told you above. Tap into ECU wire D14 (OBDI) and you are good to go.

 

whe i did d14 it didnt work, so i tapped the white wire on the o2 sensor

 

i try the white wire d16. doesn't seem to be working correctly. it shows that i'm running lean throught out rpm range.

 

D14 is the correct pinout on the ecu, but it didnt work for me, so i wored it to the o2 sensor on the cat
