Default extending iac wires, what is the best method?

I need to extend my iac wires about 7-10 inches. What is the best method to extend so I dont lose current?

use the same gauge wire (probably 18-20 gauge) then solder and heat shrink your connections...

btw you don't need to worry about "loosing current", just worry about keeping a solid connection
