check out that link, explain me how that manifold is setup. Do we not see the entrence from the angle, and the downpipe loops through the manifold? why?

looks like what you said...its all connected. manifold and downpipe. dunno why...space probably.

That's a bad angle to look at it.

I'm PRETTY CERTAIN, that the manifold has ONE outlet tube at the far left of the pic that is actually part of the exhaust housing of the turbo, then the one tube comes off the outlet of the turbo, and goes down behind the engine like a stock manifold pipe. I think they did this for space compliance, and there is a CAT just after the turbo that attaches to that downpipe.

Doesn't matter anyway, somehow they are still making very decent power out of a damn Neon... And no mufflers on that car, either! Just the turbo, and a cat or two.
