Whats up i have a b20 vtec in my 00 itr and it has a b20 vtec with itr pistons on a t40e tuned on 9 psi... I have a 3 inch exhaust right now with a huge apexi n1 muffy.... Now my question is will a muffler off a 08 civic si be enough flow for my car? Cali is refereein the **** outta cars now so i wanna look as stock as possible. Thanks

you could look up the inner dementions of the muffler on google. that will atleast give you idea of the inside diameter.

Well Id say run it.. sure it wont flow as much but it might keep it on the DL more..??

it wont help the car, you can sell the apexi muffler or save up and get a 3" muffler that is a lot quieter and more stock looking.. something oval will be a lot better then the n1.. n1 has been rated the loudest muffler since they came out.. putting a stock muffler on would be like sticking your thumb over your water hose.. your blocking and limited the exhaust flow and limiting your results.

 

get a vibrant muffler, looks/sounds steath but you can get it 3"
