Hey guys, I'm new to the whole turbo scene...I'm still waiting for it to show....anyhow...I have 2.5" piping from the cat back and a N1 knock off muffler. The only reason I got it is because it had the silencer. I gutted my cat a while back and it is just way to loud. Will the silencer make a big difference on power? OR should I just dump money into a thermal research exhaust? I really don't have the cash for a new exhaust...any suggestion tips? Thanks.

when you put the turbo on it will be real quiet. I'm running 3 inch piping with a 3inch resonator that's a foot long and no cat at all with an N1 muffler and no silencer. I'ts pretty quiet and everyone tells me you can hear the wuurrrr of the turbo through my exhaust but I have yet to hear it.
