alto of people on budgets are using KTeller8 system on here. It customizable so you can use what ever muffler you want. Some use high po cats from random technologies. Most people however just ditch after they have done there emissions testing. Your other choice is to use a thermal 3" setup or th Greddy PE 2 setup. Thats pretty much most of hte 3" exhausts on the market.

Look to pay 250 for DIY setup
and about 550 for built setup

If you are going turbo then you dont want a stock cat. At least get a highflow 3". Thermal or Greddy PE are the best. kteller8 makes nice systems for much less than a thermal but you have to buy a muffler. Still cheaper. I think the twin loop would be too much restriction.

EDIT: damn you beat me to it.....looks like we thought about the same thing though.

I bought my piping for my custom exhaust from kteller8. I also got the 3" magnaflow muffler to go with it. I replaced my stock cat with a carsound 3" high-flow one. I suggest you get the carsound cat. Then just take it to your local muffler shop and they will weld it up for you.
