Default exhaust @ idle?

should exhaust come from the wastegate (dump) @ idle?

tial wastegate, no vaccum hooked up, looks like it's close but exhausts @ idle

anyone else? waste gate is open a bit even with vaccum hooked up..

You have ISSUES. How much is making it past? Shouldn't be more than a VERY small amount. If any.

it's a small amount, but i can see the valve in the waste gate isn't open exactly

Are you using a fire ring gasket or the stock Tial one? I'd get a firering gasket, pull the wastegate, and install that, making sure that the little ring that came with the Wastegate kit is installed properly, almost flush with the bottom of the wastegate.

do you have to tap that ring in, or does it just sit in?, maybe it's upside down?

where do you get that other ring?

i think ur missing the ring that fits flush inside the wastegate, having a gasket at this point wont matter.....does ur car build any boost

car isn't driveable yet, just noticed exaust coming from the wastegate @ idle

the ring is there, and so is the gasket, but the waste gate valve looks a bit open
