I was just wondering if they were any good. The come in a fixed design and your choice of 2degres advanced or retard. I'm runnin a B18a Turbo and was just wondering if i would gain anything much or noticiable from using these cam gears ? any help would be appreciated

 

why get them fixed when you can get them adjustable and have any degree on camgear

 

i have the skunk2 cam gears....6 bolts....i don't think they will ever slip.....if thats what u are worried about

 

Actually i'm not really worried about them slipping, i'm jus lookin at my situation here. Where i am the only dyno that i can go to to really tune my gears is an "ISLAND" away, and by that i really do mean an island as in putting my car on a boat and getting it over there jus to have it tuned which is a bit costly. So i'm just looking at my option unless there's another way to adjust them without guessing about what you're gonna be getting outta them on the power side.

 

i was tinkin bout gettin the cams with the intake retarded 1-2 degrees and the exhause straight up, ne advise wud be helpful. all my internals or stock for now, soon to be upgraded as the cash flows in.
