Default Evo8 FMIC and FLOW

anybody ever heard about the evolution 8 intercooler and how they flow. My friend may sell me his for like 150$ and its flawless. i know they run the 20psi very well on their oem platform.

thats too much money for an intercooler, i wouldn't spend more than 15 dollars on one, maybe 18, but not even 20. psh

GO on the mitsu boards and ask whedn the ic is efficient too. I'm sure they know.

No idea, I seen an SRT-4 intercooler on a 400-410whp setup

No idea on the Evo8 though

are u talking about this ......



evo8 fmic looks good i think and 150 is a killer deal for an intercooler. compared to a precision one which is around 450 thats a steal.

damn that looks good can anyone gimme dimensions of just the core and maybe the whole thing. looks like a 12"

someone i talk to sometimes says there is a "flat spot" at like 5000rpm, im like what?

that downpipe and turbo are a photoshop. look at the dp flange or lack there of and the oil feed line or lack there of
the first one is real the 2nd is a fake

i dont see how its a photoshop at all... in the one picture without the oil feed like it looks like the downpipe was being fabbed.

those are pics of back when the dp/mani were being fabbed. doesnt really make much sense to have the oil lines all hooked up when you are just gonna pull the whole damn thing off again..

the next thing they did was fab the dp, you can have it laying on the turbine housing like that, just remember that the flange takes up like 3/8th of an inch

lol, sorry.

what power levels are you shooting for.. if i remeber correctly, the evoVIII intercooler is like 2.5" thick... its basically a bigger version of the starion intercooler, which werent all that efficient IMO
