EVERYONE LOOK AT THIS> stock LS 9psi 11.9@119!!!!
this kid is claimin to have made 276whp @10psi on a bone stock LS 60-1 turbo, obx mani. and he went to the track last weeek and ran a 11.9@119.
now does this sound fishy to anyone else? look at that trap. 119 for only 276whp?? 10psi??
i have to friends that have 400whp cars. ones a civic and ones an accord, they both trap 118-120 everytime and they run 11.9 and the accord 12.5. stock LS 10psi 11.9@119???? bs??
i brought this to there attention and immediately got yelled at saying it is bone stock. ok bone stock motor, but not 10psi, no? anyone esle know any civics runnin 11's at 119 on 10psi on a 1.8L?

I don't see why not. Gutted out and on slicks people have ran faster times with less horsepower.
Post up the chassy or total weight. Ask him for the slip if not then ask about the 60' time and even the 1/8th mile time and such.

Spool has almost no bearing with 1/4 mile times, he could keep it in boost the whole track. Do you know what tranny he was using?
The time in my sig was only done with 326 hp.
But if I had to guess, he might be running a little more than 10 psi.

i dunno ... doesn't sound too far fetched to me... a friend of mine in a full weight 98 dx hatchback made 240 whp 220 tq, running 12.70s @ 113 on bfg radials... some more traction, a little more power, and less weight and i don't see an 11.90 @ 119 being all that out of the question
I've got video proof of 3 different friends of mine, all from 260whp-310whp. There times are from 11.7-11.4 and mph was 116-118mph. The 11.4 was 299whp. 260whp went 11.7's. All 3 cars are full wieght, full interior 92-95 hatches.
So that time is pretty much dead on. Actually a hair slow for the MPH.
