Eve piston rings?

I ordered a set of NPR rings for my gsr boost setup and got these eve rings. Anyone have any experience with these?

Just opened the package and they seem normal. Should I bite them to see if they are real?

This thread has some info on them. Seems they're ok, just need to gap them correctly. I've seen comments that the end-gap is rather tight.
