EVAP setup question
So like many of us I dont have my evap setup and for awhile i didnt mind the fuel smell but now its starting to bug me a bit. My question about a potential setup for all of us is can i simple run a line from the evap hard line to a brake booster check valve then to an open port on my intake mani. that way it almost works like the factory system besides being filtered thru the evap box and it only releases the vapors at idle and no possibility of loss of boost due to the check valve. If anyone has a better setup please post.

Re: EVAP setup question
On my integra I removed the evap solenoid, charcoal canister, and hardline to the tank. I put a vent hose off the top of the tank where the old hardline was so it vent down to the bottom of the car. No more bad smell in the bay. I'm not sure if this is the correct way to do it or am telling you to do it. I'm just letting you know what I did.

Re: EVAP setup question
the jdm cars all used a line from the canister to the throttle body. if you plumb the line out of the canister into the intake tube your air filter is on it's basically the same thing

Re: EVAP setup question
yea i know what ur talking about im more so looking to see if there would be any draw backs to the setup i posted. as far as releasing the fuel vapors into the motor w/o it being filtered thru the canister.
