Enter The World Of The 96 EK 4DR
As you can tell by the title already, you probably know what I own. This is my newest project. I want to see if i can make this 4dr a high or mid 11 sec car.
Swap the LX Motor for a D16Y8 that has about 85,000 miles on it.
Internals: Brand new Titanium Retainers, Titanium valve springs, Forged Vavles, Forged Pistons, Forged connecting rods, Bearings and a skunk 2 cam. And of course a good street tune.
Turbo setup: Stage III T3.T4 FLANGE
Goal for HP: 280-350
So after I do all this, could my engine handle between 12- 15lbs of boost safely? Cuz some guys i work with tell me even if i forge out the internals my engine would still most likely blow because its a D. I dont believe that bull though.
