Default Is this enough fuel?

Alright, just waiting for a few more things to come in and I can finish up. But I just want to make sure that I'll have enough fuel. I'll be using an bosch inline, a vortech fmu (8:1), my stock injectors and my stock fpr. I'm planning on running anywhere from 7-9 psi. I want to hear if anyone else is using something similar and how it is working as well as if they have any other suggestions or can foresee any potential problems!! Thanks

that sounds decent to run 7-8, 9 might be pushing it... what motor is this going on?

I have vortech FMU 12:1, msd inline, stock injectors, and AFC (tuning even more fuel at 5-7000rpm).... I think you should go with at least a 10:1 with only and just an inline and nothing else... better safe then sorry.

I am researching fuel options for a very similar fuel setup... an FPR might do well too to lean out the low end/idle but you might want to go with a higher ratio on the FMU as well.

I'll be running this on an h22a1, and I was considering running a higher rise rate, but I'm worried about my injectors failing at a pressure that high. I was doing a bit of calculations and I figured that if I ran around 7-9 psi of boost, my stock injectors would be pushing somewhere in the vicinity of 96 - 112 psi. I think this is pretty high so I didn't want to go with a higher rise rate. Oh yah, I'll also be using an msd btm...strictly a btm only, it came with an F-max kit. As well, will stock lines or high pressure fuel lines be able to accomodate all this high pressure in the fuel lines? Thanks again

So to fix the high pressure you wanted to just deliver less fuel to the motor? hehe, why not just install no fuel system and keep your fuel pressure at a safe stock level... hehe

So r u telling me that an 8:1 rise rate with an inline fuel pump with a stock fpr and stock injectors will not be sufficient fuel for 7-9 psi of boost?

Yes, this is what I'm telling you.

You need bigger injectors with that setup if you don't wanna starve the engine at LEAST 310s... just 8:1 will NOT be enough, stock injectors pretty much suck because they are NOT built to deliver fuel in boost.. your basically straining them no matter what you do unless you get bigger ones and tune likewise with standalone, fpr, or safc or vafc

i agree. with 310's better go with a 10:1 disk. I think any bigger you car is not going to idel right unles u tune it out. your going to need an fpr also

Okay, u say that I need bigger injectors, but I've been checking it out and apparently, 4th gen h22a1's have 340's as stock injectors. Can any one verify or debunk this? If not, then would these injectors suffice for what for my fuel requirements?
