Wow, major accomplishment.
Just finished my rebuild. My first one ever! Started her up and it ran fine after a few woes.

Didn't realized the engine needed like 5.3 qts of oil so it may have been lacking a little oil despite my oil pressure being ok on my pressure gauge.
Also had problems with air locking in my cooling system and car started to overheat a little. Problems resolve and now seems to be running ok.

I wonder how far off my tuning will be with the new .20 over 9:1 pistons? Any ideas? Seems like its running a bit lean so I upped the fuel pressure a little bit. I will have to wideband tune the hondata again while breaking it in.

If anyone is thinking about a rebuild and you have the time (which I didn't) I recommend you do it yourself if you are mechanically inclined. As long as you have a good machinist you trust to do your bore/honing, etc. you should be ok!
