Default engine rebuild question

Is it possible to install new pistons and rods with the engine in the car? Just wondering about building up my engine in the future for more turbo boost.

how do you get the con rods out? take the oil pan off??

yes its done all the time....im getting it done to my car to save $. Its not the best way to do it but if you want to save $$$ then....

YOu have to remove the cylinder head and pull them out through the top.
