Default Engine Questions

Have a couple of questions about my engine. I'm going to get the head re-surfanced next weekend and was wondering what would be the best head gasket to buy? I have a LS/VTEC with plans of running around 18PSI max boost on a built bottome and top end. Is it best to use a factory LS head gasket or an after market one? Also i want to powder coat the intake manifold and the throtle body just to clean things up under the hood. I will post pics up later of my engine bay so you guys can let me know what would look good. Also i want to panit my entire engine bay semi-gloss black cause of all the scarches under the hood. But my car is silver. You think it would look good in black. Tahnks

I have always used Stock Head gaskets with Arp head studs. I think you will be fine with a stock head gasket and Arp's.
