picked up a CRX, got a T3/T4 and a NX wet kit with tons of extras. Now I need to decide what motor will be the best for this application.

What motor would you guys suggest running in this car and what should I shot for on HP, drag strip build.

Easy build, tune, and parts are easy to come across. D-series?

Hine site is 20/20, sometimes when you go one way you wished you went the other, what's your experience please.

d16y8,d16z6 or the jdm d15b vtec. all about the dime a dozen motors, use it untill you blow it up than just buy another.

 

I'm leaning towards d's. seems to be a large aftermarket for the d series and like you said, dime a dozen. This will be my first turbo setup and well, I'll push it till I find its breaking point.

use the motor that you have. switch to mpfi if you have dpfi and use that.
