Engine Managment for a Boosted B16
I am planning on Boosting my Little 89 DX Hatch powered by a B16A1 over the winter some time. Alot of people have told me just to piece together my own kit vs buying a pre-fab kit. The only question I am wondering is what Engine Managment to go with. I know I don't need a complete stand alone. But I also know some sort of tuning device would be a neccesity.
I don't plan on having a huge power plant. Somewhere around the range of 225-250hp. I want to run about 6-7Psi on the motor because the internals will be staying stock for the 1st year of boost.
I just don't know what to use a Tunind Device. I am not sure if a Apexi Vafc will be suffice. And alot of the kits come with a Pre-Programmed ECU which i wouldn't have it I pieced together my own kit. These are just some of the questions I am pondering right now, I am sure there will be more soon, but any help would be appreciated..

vafc hack with some bigger injectors should work fine
fmu and inline pump will work too
im sure other people will chime in and give you more info

I'm going to try additional injectors running a seperate controller on my d16 project.. we'll see how it goes. If it works I'll post up the schematic.
