engine management???
I am soon to be owning a del sol and I plan on turboing the stock D16. I'm not going for huge numbers or anything just shooting for 200-220whp. My main concern is engine management. Would I be ok with just a wideband o2 sensor and adjusting the timing or do you think i would need to go with something like megasquirt or e-manage?

ahhhhh, so much information lol. So let me make sure that i got this down right.
CROME utilizes you stock ecu and allows for different plugins for different applications? or is it different plugins so you can make it as expensive and safe as you want by controlling as much as possible. But, in order to run crome you have to buy products from other company so everything will work together.
I'm pretty confused if you can't tell.
wouldn't it be easier and possible cheaper just to run greddy emanage and have your stock settings as your base MAP to build off of?
If anybody can help me make more sense out of this crome setup please do lol.

Emanage would be your last choice.
A writeup I wrote kinda explains things in simple terms at http://phearable.net/tech/efibeginnerguide.html

I'd suggest Crome. It's a good solid tune and it's free. All you have to do is pay for the chipped ecu or if you got some skills you can chip an ecu yourself. J-K-Tunning.com was where I got mine and John is pretty reperable. Also I'm a firm believer that if your going to even think about turboing a car then you should at least do some kind of tuning to it. Tuning isn't just shoving out crazy hp numbers it's about making the turbo more compatible with your motor thus making it more reliable.
