Default engine builders opinions

im about to be buildin a piston and rod set up ls vtec 10 to 1 compression eagle rods je pistons... 81.5 mm bore... i will be boosted what do you guys usually put yalls piston to wall clearance at.... and what ring placement and gap do you use.... my crank is fine ...so i should be fine with standard bearings correct... just getting different peopls opinions

The aftermarket pistons that you will be putting in has all those specs included.

I believe JE calls for .0030" piston-to-wall clearance, but it really depends on how much power you plan on producing. What are your goals?

EDIT: .0030 not .030

piston to wall clearance should be with the spec sheet that came with the pistons.
