Default EMS help...

I installed v.94 on my laptop, plugged it into the EMS and clicked "connect". The status box comes up and says:
ecu offline
online
offline
online
etc.

red text at the bottom of the page keeps flashing ECU OFFLINE

The ignition is in the on position, the fans are on, the car will crank but whats wrong with my EMS?

Thanks for any help!

try cycling the power on and off...ie, turn the key on and off. Otherwise, make sure you have power to the ECU, ie, the 15amp fuse...

Try putting v.89 back on it and then update it again. I had a similar issue on a friends and was able to play around with it and get it fixed. On a side note...you should really consider downloading v1.03...much improved over the old revisions.

I will try both versions as soon as I get home from work...ttt
Is there something to convert v.94 calibration files to v1.03 yet?

Yes, there are many new 'wizzards' included.
