Well, for the big expensive EM systems, I know alot of people love the AEM... i cant speak for the others...

But there are other ways without spendin that much, Unless you wanna constantly be changing things... Crome or neptune are great and they are free...
Hondata is another option, but its more money

Magneti Marelli kills them all an they make them for 4 cyl engines.

but for the ones on your list
1. AEM because honda tuners are more comfy with the program
2. Motec honestly the best out of the three but finding a tuner isnt easy for it
3. Haltech

Haltec costumer service is probably one of the worst things I've ever experienced. Nothing really compares to talking to an Australian with a thick accent and a bad attitude about troubleshooting their software.

Motec is by far the best "system" you can get. The only problem is $...you can add on a bunch of fancy bells and whistles...traction control boxes, digital dash displays, extra data aquisition boxes, how much crap you get is proportional to your wallet size.

AEM, probably the most widely used EMS in the import scene, so finding a tuner is a simple task. Doesn't do anything bad, doesn't do anything great.

Out of the three you mentioned, I would go AEM, simply for the tuner solution.

But like people have said above, the system is only as good as the tuner.

PS - Take a look at DTAfast

aem does all that minus the extra datalogging and you dont have to pay for the extra stuff.

http://www.aimsports.com/products/mxl-chooser.html this display works with the aem telemtry output

but yeah.... find a tuner you like and use what they say to use.. the best ems box in the world sucks if your tuner cant tune it.

Thats exactly what makes Motec undesireable for anyone in the import scene. You are paying a premium for a box that doesn't do anything fancy without the supporting units, which all add up to a small fortune.

AEM, has everything you need, and nothing you don't.
