what are the benefits of an anti-surge housing compared to the the regular and this other housing? i get that the anti-surge helps it from surging, but is there any other benefits?

the purpose is in the name other than that theres no real other purpose and the turbos you listed are also anti-surge but you see them more depending on the turbo company an you see them alot on diesel apps

you get that kind of style anti-sure housing on some GT30xxR and GT4088R 94R

the compressor wheel on that turbo looks pretty f*cked

 

and u get a high pitched spool sound, lol
