Hey guys i am getting everything together for a build and the next thing on my list is engine managment... I am doing a b18c1 eagle rods, wiseco 9 to 1 pistons, honda bearings, buddyclub valve springs retainers and valves. It is going to be turbo'd just dont know all the details on it yet. I am aiming for 500 whp. I have a power fc with a commander already. Do you think this will be sufficient for what I am doing or do I need to junk it and go with another ems?

not sure i've always used neptune... i'm sure someone will chime in and let you know i know s300 cost quite a bit more though

NepTune RTP is $200 less than the S300 and gives you real-time tunability with a lot of comparable features, but I may be slightly biased here.
Do research on both and see how you like each of the softwares before choosing one or the other.

A few still do, but I wouldn't use it on a setup that he has. I always recommend Neptune RTP or go to the Neptune dealer near you.
You can't beat the price for the RTP, and it gives you all the options (that actually work) to allow you to tune your car to its potential.

So I take it that everyone is saying get rid of the power fc?
Do you know if you can pass the obII emissions if I use hondata or neptune?

Get an FC Datalogit and keep the PFC IMHO. It can work quite well if set up by a competent tuner. None of these solutions will allow you to remain OBDII compliant.
You could just sell the PFC pocket some money and use eCtune or crome for that setup. Since your in NC, my recommendations are,
eCtune
Joseph Davis:

Crome

If you choose to use Crome then pm me and I'll get you their numbers since I can't find it atm, my phone isn't anywhere to be found.
Also on the emissions testing. Just throw in stock injectors and a stock ecu, once the engine is fully warmed up and you'll pass after a few miles if nothing else is jacked up. Just don't have a heavy foot and you'll be good.

Yep, ditch it. You won't be able to pass obd2 emissions due to the obd1 conversion. What I usually do with set-ups like this that need to pass emissions is swap out the injectors, ecu, and pull the wg spring when it comes time to do emissions. Just make sure and keep it out of boost. To be extra safe you can retard the dizzy timing and throw on a fmu temporarily. RC engineering has obd2-obd1 injector clips now which makes the swap easy as pie.

So what do you think I should tune it with. There is no way to get it to pass OBII with any stand-alone correct?
