I'm trying to understand the whole concept, so could someone tell exactly how one works? I understand how the manual boost controller works, but not he electronic controller? Any help, I've searched and not answers

 

electronic boost controllers have a solenoid that allows boost pressure to pass or not pass a valve which inturn goes to the wastegate. Also there is a pressure sensor attached to a vacuum/boost source which tells the boost controller when to open or close the valve
