Electronic boost controller
I am looking for an electronic boost controller that will allow me to switch from one boost setting to another, on the fly, with just a push of a button. Any recomendations?
Price and simplicity are key factors.
Thanks

Re: Electronic boost controller (Meat_Wagon)
greddy has one that is pretty cheap. They also sell a button for it that mounts on your steering wheel. If you what to save a little money you can make up your own button.

apexi and blitz can offer preset levels of boost depending on speed/rpm.. you'd need 2 units to do that with blitz so it will cost some $$$$.. but blitz has overboost feature.. - automatic settings would be very simple and give you more time to concentrate on other stuff.
in general, i'm pretty sure more than a few boost controller will have some type of port for external switch to go back between 2 settings.. there aren't that many out there, check manufacturers website for external control option on these products

correct BUT the high low is technically, it is electronically controlled, and allows to switch from high to low.

I guess you can consider it like that. But its really a Dual Solenoid MBC with a relay and switch.
You dont set it electronically, you just switch it electronically

Is the turbo xs unit pretty solid when switching from low to high on the fly? Does it repond and open fast enough?

It switches as fast as any EBC will.
If you want simple and cheap and still effective this is the best bet.
If you want more bling and likely more headache on set up then go EBC.
I had an EBC before and ditched it for an MBC. Life is much easier now

If you are set on getting a EBC then go with the Greddy Profect Type S....
I assume the Type S is for SIMPLE because it is as simple as it gets. Also, the optional remote high/low switch is pretty sweet. For only $100 extra you get the wireless steering wheel mounted button. I love mine, the switch is fast and seamless.
As basic as it gets with EBC.... i love mine

I like the steering wheel switch with the Greddy unit but the simplicity of the Turbo XS. Hmmm. . . .

the turbo xs dual stage is very simple to use. If you want to keep it real simple this would be a good idea
