Default Electrical help needed ASAP!!!

I just got done putting in a new engine wiring harness in my 01 GSR. The car is boosted and is using Hondata s100 with boost opt. I tried to start the car and it would just turn over with no hint at starting. I unplugged the map sensor and the car will now try to start but it will not rev past like 900-1000 and it backfires with hella flames shooting out of the exhaust. What can be the problem?

Make sure you put the spark plug wires in the correct order.

Thatll do it, both on the engine and dist. side. I got a beater for $200 three years ago(my awsome 1 headlighted 4dr) because of this. The dealer couldnt get it running, gave it a full tuneup, I popped the hood, saw what was wrong and signed the title. Walked out, swapped the wires, drove the car home, tires-a-smokin as I pulled out . This is probably the only time a dealer will get SCREWED
ALso, quadroople check your timing marks on the cams, my car did the same thing when it was one-tooth off.

Make sure your fuel pump is turning on. Some OBD2 cars have the fuel pump power on pin A15, while others have it on A16.

okay so it turned out that my plug wires were incorrectly installed. The car now starts but without the map sensor plugged in. If you plug in the map sensor it will stall out almost immediately. Also the car will only rev to 4,000 no higher. Your help so far has been greatly appreciated and other suggestions. Could it be that I have to wire and hook up my 3 bar for it to run correct with hondata? Right now I was trying to use my stock one.

stock map sensor should work fine as long as its chosen in the rom editor software. maybe try swiching it out for another one. all the wiring and sensor is the same for obd1-2

well the way it is running right now is really rich. I mean puffing a lot of black smoke. Could it be that the 3 bar is the one enabled right now and the voltage difference is making the injectors flow to much fuel? But would that make the car not rev past 4,000? Does not having the map plugged in put the car in limp mode?

Okay so I wired up the 3-bar like its shown on hondatas website. Well the car would not start at all. So I disconnected it and tried to start the car still nothing. The only other option was to try my stock computer, plugged it in and the car started right back up. It still wouldn't rev past 4,000 though. So my friend unplugs my TPS sensor and now the car idles better and revs up higher. So whats the deal with my hondata? It won't even start my freaking car!!! Anyone know of a shop I can take this car to that will fix the problem and tune it for me? I am near scranton, PA. Thanks for your help

I bought it brand new and it was a p28 chipped and socketed from hondata. It already has the obd2 plug wired in.
