EGT to high?!?!?!

At any rate, I'd find out the cause asap
Actually, I believe that egt's are at their highest aroung stoichiometric and drop off on either side (lean and rich) so, there is no way to tell if an engine is running really rich or really lean, just by the egt's, but if you know it's not lean (ie. smells rich/black crap on muffler) and you have high egt's (and your timing is on) then you are running rich.

My question: Does anyone have some egt's from a N/A honda engine? Maybe even one that's close to stock?! That would be killer to know.

just get ride of the EGT and get a wideband sensor. Then you will know for sure.
