EGT gauge checkup
Alright, i just installed a Greddy EGT gauge. I just want to make sure it is functioning properly. It is installed in the third runner of my manifold and the lights are all working. i have it wired as follows:
Red wire-hot all the time
Orange wire- is to the ignition wire( where it is hot after turning switch on)
White wire- to the running ligts
Black wire- ground
Does all of the connections look correct. The reason i am asking is i just got my new motor back in with turbo set up and at idle it is sitting on like 300C i think that is what the gauge reads in. Does this sound normal or right? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: EGT gauge checkup (dwilson)
my greddy egt gauge doesn't register any significant temp at idle either. If you hold the revs to 3500 for a few seconds it should begin to climb a bit.
