EGT , best location?
Question: What is the best location in the exhaust manifold to put a egt thermocouple in?
I have read that it should be in the #3 cylinder because it gets the hottest, how far from the exhaust flange should the bung be welded on?
This is going to be on a b series with a supercharged setup if that makes any difference.
thanks

not effective enough in the dp. it needs to be at the hottest point to be of any use.
